Wanderers Soccer - SARA ( San Antonio Recreational Alliance)

Welcome to SARA-San Antonio Recreational Alliance. This league is set up to promote fun in the beautiful game of soccer. Several clubs have come together with the same purpose, learning soccer without pressure.

Wanderers Soccer

9U to 19U Recreational Soccer - Wanderers
These teams play a 7v7 small sided format in a league that is provided by the San Antonio Recreational Alliance (SARA).  Home games are played at Schertz Soccer Complex (SSC), but away games will be played around San Antonio.

Please note, the number of player registrations will determine the combination of age groups and genders. If necessary, coed teams will be formed.

Birth Year and Season Matrix

Teams are formed based on the birth year of players.

When determining the age group for a seasonal year (2023-2024 for Fall season), the year the season ends is subtracted from the birth year to determine the age division.

For example:  2024- 2013 = 11U.

The “U” stands for “under”, which means players in each age group are that age or younger.

The ’08, ’09 etc. references the year the player was born. Players are eligible to play up to older age groups, but may not play down an age group.

BIRTH YEAR AGE GROUP
2015 9U
2014 10U
2013 11U
2012 12U
2011 13U
2010 14U
2009 15U
2008 16U
2007 17U
2006 18U
2005 19U
