When you begin the online registration process, you will be asked to select a "play level" from the drop down menu before entering player information. Selection of the appropriate play level for each player registered is important, as registration fees are determined based on this selection. Following is a summary of the various play levels available. For information regarding registration fees, go to the Fees and Refunds page.
| Play Level | Type of Play | Ages | For Information |
|---|---|---|---|
| "Rec D 4" | Recreational | U-5 to U-10 | Age Group Commissioner |
| "Rec Plus" | Recreational Academy | U-9 to U-10 | "Recreational Academy" page |
| "Rec D 3" | Recreational | U-11 and older | Upper Age Commissioner (see "Board" page") |

New players must submit a copy of a state-issued birth certificate to the league within fourteen (14) days of the registration date. All volunteers (coaches, asst. coaches, managers, trainers, etc.) MUST register through the online registration system so that a background check can be conducted. All coaches must have age appropriate licensing within one year of the first season as coach. For more information, please contact Steve Jennings, Director of Training, at training@ahfsh.org.
Additional information regarding coaches' registration, including licensing requirements, is available through our governing state association, STYSA, at www.stxsoccer.org; a FAQ section is available HERE.
Vehicle Registration
AHFSH soccer fields are located on Fort Sam Houston. All adult occupants of the vehicle (drivers and passengers) will need a valid photo ID to enter Fort Sam Houston. Additionally, all vehicles must have current license and inspection stickers.
AHFSH will not offer vehicle passes this season, as Fort Sam Houston has notified us that all parents will be admitted through any open gate upon presentation of identification and the explanation that the occupants are entering the post for soccer.
